Voyages
Photographier c’est souvent une intrusion, un manque de discrétion. Chez Jean-Pierre Evrard c’est le contraire, c’est toujours le respect et souvent une complicité avec son sujet. Son écriture est de toute évidence intérieure, une caresse afin d’y introduire son âme.
Traqueurs d’instants, amoureux de la brièveté, il capte en un instant bien plus qu’un instantané voué aux regards, à la lumière, il fait de son œuvre un sentiment qui traverse et qui ne laisse rien passer de superflu.
Il y a encore dans ce monde des yeux qui se donnent la peine de voir pour le plaisir de tous.

Journeys
Photographing is often intrusive, indiscrete. Not with Jean-Pierre Evrard. On the contrary, with him photography is about respect
and often about complicity with his subject. His photographic language is clearly interior, a caress so as to insert his soul Stalking instants, enamored of brevity, he instantaneously captures more than a snapshot fated to be looked at, fated to light. He transmutes his works into feeling penetrating and eliminating the superfluous.
In this world there are still eyes making the effort to behold for the pleasure of all.
